Email is how you reach the people behind Loans Ottawa, and we reply within two business days. A loan you already hold belongs with the lender named on your agreement, and a complaint about how an Ontario lender behaved belongs with Consumer Protection Ontario.
Email us
Write to ; email is the only channel. For a correction, name the page and say where the right figure comes from. We have no phone line and no office in Ottawa or anywhere else in Ontario, because we publish information and do not lend, and nobody here can open your application.

Who to contact for what
Find your question in the left column and take it to the office on the right.
| Your question | Where to take it |
|---|---|
| A figure, an Ontario rule or an Ottawa detail on this site is wrong | Email us. We read it against the Payday Loans Act, 2008 and the federal rules, then fix the page and move its date. |
| The status of an application you sent | The application platform's own support, linked from your confirmation email. |
| A repayment date, a payment or a loan you already hold, payday or installment | The lender named on your agreement, which must show its contact details and its Ontario licence. |
| A lender charged more than $14 per $100, refused a cancellation inside two business days, rolled a loan over, opened a second loan while one was running or skipped the extended plan on a third loan | Consumer Protection Ontario, which licenses payday lenders and each location they lend from. |
| General questions about payday loans and your rights across Canada | The Financial Consumer Agency of Canada. |

What we cannot do
We cannot see your application, change an offer, hurry an e-transfer or phone a lender on your behalf, and we never hold your banking details. We can correct this site, explain an Ontario rule in plain words and point you to the right office.
Corrections and updates
When Ontario or the federal government changes a rule, the pages change and the "last updated" date on each one moves with them. The about page and how applying works answer most questions, and the complaints policy sets out what happens after you write.
